Why Develop a Relationship with Vallee Health Repair?

The Good Old Days

Remember when kids could ride their bikes for hours under the summer sun, roaming neighborhoods and meeting wherever the hang-out house was? Or when families enjoyed a Sunday dinner? How about when you went to see the doctor and they spent the time you needed to answer all your questions? We may be able to help our children recapture some of the freedom of childhood and create different family bonding rituals, but, unless we strive to change healthcare models, we’ll never be able to spend more than a hurried five minutes with a physician buried in paperwork about the patients for whom they care.

There is a Better Way

Fortunately, healthcare is changing. There are practitioners dedicated to making excellent, patient-centered care accessible. Vallee Health Repair in Quincy, IL is one of them. Vallee Health Repair has an entirely different way of providing high quality patient care. Our practice is based on a Direct Primary Care, or DPC, model of medicine. Basically, this means that we cut out middle men (like insurance companies) to provide you with the healthcare you need instead of the care a faceless insurance company decides you should have. You might be concerned that you can’t afford to pay for healthcare out-of-pocket, but with the high deductible plans so many of us now have, you’re usually paying thousands of dollars out-of-pocket before your insurance kicks in anyway and you only get the care a nameless, faceless someone decides you should have.

While we do recommend that you carry a high deductible medical insurance plan in case of a catastrophic event, the goal of Direct Primary Care is to keep you healthy, helping you avoid illness that requires hospitalization. Our style of healthcare also allows us to provide tests, lab work, and medication at a wholesale cost to you, ensuring that we have all the information we need to support your best health while not burdening you financially.

Additional Benefits of Partnering With Vallee Health Repair

We have a patient-centric approach to your wellness. As a practice, Vallee Health Repair is designed to facilitate fast appointments. You can usually see a practitioner the same or next day. That visit will be comprehensive and allow you to express all of your concerns. Our style of medical care is old-fashioned: empathetic, compassionate, and caring while being top-notch. Our goal is to create a long-term relationship with you in which we know you and your health concerns well enough to set-up a telehealth appointment and treat you even if you’re out of town. Part of our partnership means that you will have access to your provider’s cell phone number to contact them at any time of the day or night, any day of the year.

Questions You May Have

  • Do we accept Medicare? Yes, but you’ll need to sign a waiver agreeing that you won’t bill Medicare for services rendered. We can discuss in more detail when you see us.
  • What if I need specialized care or hospitalization? We will remain in close contact with any other physician treating you, although, occasionally, those specialists or hospitalists will have the expertise needed to provide a full treatment protocol, so they may oversee your care.
  • Does your practice see children? Yes, we see children ages birth to 18, but we don’t provide early childhood vaccinations for them at this time.
